Shamala Chandrasekaran, Programme Manager Asian-Pacific Resource and Research Centre for Women (ARROW). 

Shamala Chandrasekaran is currently working as a Programme Manager with the Asian-Pacific Resource and Research Centre for Women (ARROW). In addition to ensuring that voices of women, young people and non-binary persons are heard in key advocacy spaces at the national, regional and global spaces, Shamala also supports the Right Here Right Now 2 programme that focuses on advancing young people’s SRHR. Shamala has authored the ICPD+25 Regional Monitoring Report focused on the status of HIV and STI in Asia and the Pacific region. At ARROW, she also reviewed and coordinated the development and publication process of thirteen national research and monitoring report aimed at giving an overview of progress, gaps and challenges towards the implementation of the ICPD agenda that is critical for the implementation of Agenda 2030, key goals and targets relevant to gender and sexuality.
