Tinashe Chipwanya, Grants Manager GL
Tinashe Chipwanya is the Grants Manager for the Women’s Voice and Leadership South Africa project, run by Gender Links. She is a proficient young woman; a game-changer, a motivator who is very passionate about playing a part in the development of women and youth globally. Tina believes that transformation in our communities can only be realized by the effective support of women’s participation in all economic sectors. Prior to joining Gender Links in South Africa she was involved in women, children and health rights initiatives under the auspices of NGOs like CIVICUS, Open Society Initiative for Southern Africa (OSISA), the Businesswomen’s Association of South Africa (BWA), Streetlight Schools. She has been part of cross – cutting programmes that challenge and address the exclusion of women and the discrimination against them in the economic, political, social and cultural spheres
